Christmas Eve Eve with the Smiths

Our Christmas celebrations started on Thursday, Christmas Eve Eve. We had Christmas with David's side of the family that evening. I was off on Thursday and had made it a point to finish all of my Christmas shopping on Wednesday (thank you, Casey, for that amazingly speedy trip to Montgomery!) so that Carsyn and I could have the whole day to hang out and do whatever we wanted. That plan was successful. We slept in, wrapped some gifts, played, helped Zizi with a few things, played some more...

I decided to clean out her drawers so that we could get all of her clothes in them and she discovered a new trick while she was playing in her crib!

Look mama! I can stand up in my bed all by myself!!!
(The bed has now been let down...)

Watching her in her Jenny-Jump-Up is so much fun!

After Daddy got home, we headed over to Granny and Granddaddy's for Christmas. Supper was delicious, as usual! Unfortunately, Chris and his family were under the weather and weren't able to join us :( We will have Christmas with them when they are better and are down here. Carsyn and Tyler had a great time playing together...until Tyler decided that hitting Carsyn in the face was fun. Carsyn didn't really want to have anything to do with him after that :) We all assured her that she could get him back one day! Here are a few pictures from the night...

Carsyn & Granddaddy

My sweet girl :)

I think this was immediately following one of those hits...hence Carsyn's expression!

Kecia and T-man

Loving these balls!

Outfit and little elephant from Aunt Kecia, Uncle Stevie and Tyler! This girl loves her some clothes!

Getting sleepy...

We had a great evening full of good food, lots of laughter and lots of love. The down side...we missed Chris, Liz, Branson and Berkeley :( The up side...we get to have 2 Christmases! We will have to do it all over again when they make it down here!
