Christmas Day!!!

We had a busy, busy Christmas Day! I wouldn't have it any other way, though! Carsyn woke up to eat like she normally does about 5:30, but I let her go back to sleep as long as she would so that she would be in a good mood when she woke up. David and I got up and started exchanging our gifts while we waited on her to wake up.

I think we have this same picture for every year that we have been married...us in front of the Christmas tree. We tried 4 times and poor David just couldn't get his right eye to stay open! This is the 4th shot and we were laughing hysterically about it by this point...He went on and made his coffee after this try :)

About 30 minutes later, we heard Carsyn waking up. I went to get her and I really wasn't expecting any type of reaction from her about Santa coming because of her age, so I was just absolutely delighted at the big smile on her face when she saw that he had left her some goodies!

She got a walker, a stroller than we can actually travel with. I LOVE my big stroller, but if I put it in my trunk, I can't fit ANYTHING ELSE IN IT! I'm excited about having one that we can take with us. It's a Jeep :) All-Weather! How funny! She got several learning toys and a few simple toys which seem to be her favorite! Some odds and ends and of course some clothes...no girl can have enough clothes, right?

She was in such a good mood!

New wheels AND my OWN cell phone!!

Daddy's gift from Carsyn

We have a new and improved annual picture :)

Popping a wheelie for Daddy to do some adjusting!

One of those simple toys that is one of her favorites!

I guess she got tired of sitting up!

She was so funny opening her gifts! She would grab and pull until she could get the paper to her mouth (because that's where everything goes these days). I would take that piece and she would start all over. Needless to say, we ended up with lots of little shreds of paper!

Looks like Santa threw up in our living room!

What, Mama?

Daddy started thinking that he wasn't gettin' nuttin' for Christmas. He got the Benelli that he has religiously made I knew all of the details of...maybe mentioning it 7 times a day for the last 6 months...

He was on cloud nine!

We FINALLY finished about 8:30 and, as usual, Zizi, PopPop, Josh, Vicki and Grace were all waiting on us :) We got everything together and headed off to Christmas - Round 4.

Christmas with Zizi and PopPop on the next post!
