We had beautiful weather last week. Casey sent me a couple of pictures and videos throughout the week while she and Carsyn were enjoying the nice weather while they can before it gets too cold! Carsyn LOVES to be outside!
They vistited with Nannie and Papa a couple of times. She and Papa were having a serious conversation here...
And Papa got tickled about Carsyn chewing on her toes..
I'm assuming that Nannie told Casey that she had not fixed her hair on these days and that is the reason I didn't get any picture of them!
My fantabulous mama took care of the gym all week for me because Carsyn was being a bit fussy in the afternoons and by the time the afternoon rolled around, I was whooped after being up all night!
As chairman of the ACRE committee at work, I had planned our luncheon and it went off without a hitch Friday! We had a steak lunch at the Southern Sportsman's Lodge and had Jenny Nolen come and speak. She was hilarious! It was great. It was such a relief to know that everyone enjoyed it!
At the beginning of last week, I sent out an email to our gymnastics team parents about possibly having a work day at the gym. The floor needed repairing and numerous other things needed to be done. It's a big place and hard for two people to do! We are so blessed to have such great parents to work with! We had a great turn out...we had dads fixing the floor, hanging shelves, hanging banners and making cubbies and the moms were cleaning the gym like it has NEVER been cleaned before! We thank all of you that helped out SO, SO MUCH!
The rest of Saturday was spent with my baby in my arms :) Just what I needed after a long week!
Sunday, we had our Pastor Appreciation service at church. Zack, one of my BABY cousins (not so much a baby any more!) brought the message and he did such a great job! I was SO proud of him! He is grown into such an awesome young man. We enjoyed a great pot luck meal afterwards!
To all of the men's thrill, we decided to take some Smith family pictures Sunday afternoon. We haven't ever gotten to do this and figured now was the perfect time. Talk about hard to get everybody to look one way at one time...whew...this was a workout!!! Here are just of few taken with my camera...I'm sure the ones taken with Kecia's nice camera turned out much better, but anyhow...
All that topped off with some good crock pot roast and potatoes and lots of laughter at mama and daddy's for supper made for a wonderful Sunday :)
Now...off to another week :) Maybe I will do better at posting this week. I will certainly try!
My Monkey :)
