Who is THEBOMB.COM you might ask???

That would be Carsyn's babysitter :) That's right...she is awesome. Why did I decide to post about her now? Well, let's see...maybe because she painted my toe nails for me this morning while I was drying my hair trying to get ready for work?!?!? How awesome is that!?!?!

I can't explain how we prayed for guidance about Carsyn's caretaking weeks and months before she got here. I often got discouraged that nothing was going to work out. Don't get me wrong...I think I have mentioned my incredibly awesome family. Had things not worked out the way they did, somebody would have done something. But, I sure didn't want to put anybody out in order to keep my child. We prayed and we prayed and we listened and only a very few weeks before I was to go back to work were we given an answer. She was right in our front yard. Right there in the house that we lived in before we built the one we are in now. Right there...one of the little first cousins that I grew up with. Just right there!

I take no credit in the way this whole situation worked out...we turned that over to Him and what do ya know, He got it taken care of!!! I couldn't of thought of a better plan if I had tried! I mean what is better than being able to leave your baby with someone you know, someone you love and someone you trust??? Not only that, but can leave her at the house...no packing bags, no getting her out in the cold in the morning. If she's asleep, I can just leave her asleep...

She comes in before I leave for work getting my stuff together for me. She listens for Carsyn if I am in the shower and can't hear her. She takes care of her if she wakes while I am trying to finish getting ready. She sends me pictures and videos all day long to make my day go a little better :) And it does!!! She takes her to visit with her grandparents. She plays with her, laughs with her, holds her if she wants to be held, sings to her, and teaches her.

But, most of all....

She Loves Her.

And there is nothing more comforting than that.
