Carsyn's Antics Lately

Waiting at the gymnastics meet for the girls to get started...Grace and Kristan are sitting by Grace and Kristan's bag is close to her leg...

Carsyn: "Er bag is boderin' me."

Pointing to a hole in the t-shirt that I was wearing for bed...

Carsyn: "Ut dat, mama?"
Me: "That's just a little hole in my shirt."
A few minutes later...
Carsyn: "Er hole is boderin' me" (Your hole is bothering me)

Going through the grocery store...came out of nowhere...we were pretty much cracking up.
"Oh my doodness. OH my doodness. oh MY doodness! oh my DOODNESS!!"

Me: Carsyn! Are you being a whiney bag?!?!
Carsyn: "No...mine just Tahsyn" (hands up and shaking her little head and batting her eyes like "I don't know what you are talking about..."

"Mine hungy"

"Ub mine back. Ont dum tubber!" (This is going to bed - rub my back and want some cover :))

Funnies posted by ZiZi over the last few weeks:

Since Carsyn has been born, David (her daddy) calls her his little butterbean. If you follow me on here you know that Carsyn has her own twins, Levi and Harper, mirrored after Casey and Travis's twins who are one month old today. They are still in the hospital, but you would never know that to hear Carsyn. This morning she was playing and found Harper had fallen over in the stroller. She picked her up and said, "Oh, mine itta buttabean! I ub oo itta buttabean. Es I doooo!" So sweet...

Just a few months ago, I was having to beg Carsyn to let me sew for a few minutes. Nannie, Grannie, Gabby, Cindy...all these would sometimes watch her for me to sew because when she said NO about going to sew, she meant it. Yesterday, I was washing clothes and putting away some things. All of a sudden Carsyn said, "Where's my sewing stuff?? Mine need to sew!! Come on! Eddy to go SEW!!" It's a whole new ball game now :)

This is Carsyn pitching a fit. No sound. No movement. Minutes went by. The reason? Queen Tasha didn't answer her question. You envy me don't you:)

This morning Carsyn was watching Dora, who tries her absolute best to teach us to speak Spanish. She and Boots were counting stars, encouraging Carsyn to count along. "Uno, dos, tres, cuatro!" Carsyn: "Ummm...Probly no, Dora. Mine not saying that. You say UN, DOO, DEE, BOR!" No bilingual stuff for this kid...

Ok y'all, this would be a good time to pray. Lots and lots and lots to get done today. I asked Carsyn if she wanted to go sew today. Her response: "Probly no. Harper said no." So start praying. I'll check with her again after breakfast...for which she said she wanted macaroni and cheese.

Dora: Say "Stand up! Stand up! Stand up!" Carsyn: "Ummm probly no. Mine not standing up, Dora. Uh uh." It's going to be an interesting day :)

Oh how she makes our days so interesting!
