We had the big celebration Saturday morning. We had so many friends and family come out to help make Carsyn's day special and we are so thankful for those people who took time out of their busy schedules to stop by! That really means a lot!
After about 3 months of planning, I was hoping to be pretty stress-free come party-time, but the last minute things are ALWAYS a killer!!! I was up until about 1:00 Saturday morning and back up at 5:00. Carsyn decided to sleep until 9 so she was in a great mood come 10:00! As people started arriving at the house, I couldn't help but stop and think how incredibly blessed we are. It has been a year full of blessings...one flowing right after the other.
Carsyn was a champion cake smasher (as evidenced in the pictures below!!!) and the huge water slide was a hit for all kids...big and little!
