...have taught me to remove "I cannot wait" from my vocabulary. I refuse to say it. I've said it ONCE since you were born. I couldn't wait to see these 6 month pictures! I CAN wait...for whatever "it" may be! "It" will be here quickly enough. I will not rush it by...I cherish every single little moment with you.
...are all but crawling! I expect you to be going strong on all fours within the next week!
...are eating very good! Your favorite veggies are squash, carrots, sweet potatoes, mixed veggies. You will eat peas if they are real and smooshed up...no baby food peas! (And I don't blame you!) You ate some cheesy scalloped potatoes at Zizi and PopPop's the other day and loved them! You've also tried and decided that you like some sweet stuff lately...Hawaiian Delight, Peach Cobbler, Vanilla Custard and some yogurts. You haven't been big on straight fruits, but you loved mixed fruits with oatmeal last night! You have also started eating the little puffs...so funny to watch!
...still do not sleep all night long.
...are already a ham for the camera...as you can tell from these pictures!
...are so happy that you can sit up and move around in the bath tub
...do not like to be left alone even for 3 seconds. You want someone in your sight at all times!
...can wave bye-bye. You just usually do it after the fact.
...have been working on patty-cake. You are good at the "roll 'em up" part. You have your own version of clapping your hands and throwing them in the pan!
...have a new favorite song. The Wheels on the Bus. You think it's really funny. Or...maybe me dancing like a fool is the funny part. Who knows? Only you!
...love your Aunt Casey...y'all have all kinds of fun together!
...say "mama" randomly...especially when you are fussy and want to be held.
...would rather be held to sleep even though you are dripping sweat from the body heat.
...are SO good in the car seat now! We have come a LONG way!
...have got a set of lungs that work very well! And you like to let everybody know that! You just squeal out in the middle of stores...not a mad scream...just a scream for no apparent reason. I guess you think you just need to get everyone's attention.
...would rather play with a piece of paper than a toy any day. Problem is...the paper goes to your mouth...so you have to scream at me when I take it away.
...got your first tooth on 1/12/2011!
...go insane when your daddy walks through the door. It lasts a few minutes, then it's back to mama...
...are special.
