Carsyn and I spent Saturday morning playing and watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. She loves that show!
Granny came over to play with Carsyn and gave Carsyn her little rocking chair! She loves it :) She will get it going super fast...it's so funny. As Casey pointed out, she should be a PRO!
Later, we tagged along with Rachel, Haley and Jenni to go shop for Jenni's prom and graduation dresses and Haley's RATS. Did I mention I have rat-phobia??? I HATE them...and I don't use the word much! Yes, I had to ride home knowing that there were two rats in a box in the seat behind me. Haley was given STRICT instructions to be sure that they stayed in the box...no chewing through it! I have the shivers just writing about them...they make me gag! And wait...shopping for dresses is an understatement! We went in ONE store and Jenni got BOTH of her dresses. Really?!?! How in the world do you do that? I might find what I want in the first store if I'm lucky, but I have to go to at least 10 other stores before I decide! I was completely in awe! Oh what my mama would have done to have someone so easy to shop for! The funny thing was that Jenni never once picked up anything off the rack. Everyone else picked it up and it was a simple "yes" or "no." No bones about it...no "I don't know's"...just "yes" or "no."
Zack, my youngest first cousin, preached while Uncle Allen was out. He did such a great job! So proud of him! After church, we scurried home so Carsyn could get a nap in before Grace's "Pink Alabama Party"! I've figured something out...Carsyn takes her best naps when we have somewhere to go. Any other day, she would only sleep 45 minutes. When we have plans to go somewhere, I think she could sleep all day long!
We had a blast at the birthday party! The bouncy house was a hit for all of the kids...both big and small :) Hey...we all have a little kid in us, right? Poor David was hardly able to move the next morning.
We were so worn out after the party...we just hung out around the house playing with our big girl toys!
