Awesomeness!

I know it's freezing outside, but I have been so anxious to try this that it just didn't matter. Actually, I don't think I even wanted any ice cream (which is quite unusual for me!). Last year when our utility room flooded, my ice cream machine was soaked and we were scared to plug it in...for safety reasons :) I had a new one on my Christmas list, but they are a little out of season during Christmas so my sweet husband improvised! (He knows I love my ice cream) He bought me this:

A single serve ice cream maker!!!

So, we tried a vanilla ice cream recipe tonight! As a matter of fact, DAVID'S second bowl is churning now. Yes, I said David's second bowl...not mine!

It's so nice not to have to make enough for 12 people! It's perfect! The recipe we tried was great and the best thing about it.......wait for it.......you can't even hear it!!!! Did I mention that I HATE to hear the big machine going? (That's why it was in the the utility room...I always put it in there to make so I didn't have to listen to it.)
