Santa brought her a set of jr bars that will grow with her for years and a little practice beam. I took the week of Christmas off and we spent lots of time upstairs "singing on da bars." After a couple of days of practice, she had mastered the second part of her "skin the cat." She been able to do the first part (going through her arms) for months, but she's got the whole thing now!
Life ain't always beautiful, but it's a beautiful ride! This blog is an attempt to capture those moments that make this ride so beautiful!

Practicing!
I totally realize that people are probably all like "she's gonna make her daughter do gymnastics" and all that stuff, but I'm so far from that that it's not even funny. I've said since she was born that if she liked it, great and if she didn't, she would be able to do whatever it is that she loves! That being said...girl's got talent. She fearless and strong and flexible and LOVES to flip and swing and walk on the beam. That might change anytime, but for now, she loves it and I will nourish her love for the sport as long as she has it.
