TWO!!!

Two years ago today, God poured out his blessings on us in the form of a perfectly healthy and beautiful baby girl. We could never thank Him enough for allowing us to be parents to one of His children. The last two years have been filled with more joy, excitement and wonder than we could have ever imagined!!! Happy Birthday, sweet girl! We love you more than life!!!

6/20/2012 -- TWO YEARS OLD! 

At this stage, every day is a totally new adventure. You are learning so many new words and new things every day that we never know what to expect! You are saying new things constantly and, honestly, we have no clue where you heard some it! 

You are about 22 pounds and 32" long...very petite for your age. So much so that when other 2 year olds are with you, they call you "the baby." :) You are in 12-18 month clothes and size 3 diapers. Potty training at the this point is just a matter of picking a good week with no other plans and doing it! 

You almost refuse to go to sleep at night without me. You take one good 2-2.5 hour nap during the day and stay up with us until at least 9:30 or 10:00. You eat like a champ...and you will eat almost anything that won't eat you. Pop-ticks (popsicles) are proving to be a summer favorite right now :)

You are a silly little monkey and a little dare devil! You like to hang upside down, flip all over the place, climb on anything you can and hang on anything you can get your hands on...including the dishwasher and edges of the counters. Because of this, we consider everything in the house a hazard. Hence the reason you hardly ever leave our sight. When do something funny, you come to me or your daddy saying, "ook mama. ook mama." Too sweet :)

Our favorite place this summer is in the water!!! You are a little water bug. Opposite of most kids, you love to stick your face down in the water or take the water hose and hold it over the top of your head. We are at the pool every chance we get and when we aren't there we are here...

You love your blocks and your baby dolls, but it's the simple things that make you the happiest! To find one of my old wallets and fill it and empty it over and over is like giving you a gold mine. "Polding tidals" (Folding towels) keeps you busy for a loooong time. It's the simple things in life, right?!?!?

Don't fret...the lawn mower is NOT ON!!!

I could go on and on and on, but I'll save some for later :)
