We loved this part of the beach where the waves were almost non-existent!
Jenni & Carsyn!
We came home from the trip to start a week of Vacation Bible School. Carsyn is not so keen on going to stay with anybody besides those she already knows...but Ashley won her over with the "numpy hose" (that would be the jumpy house). Unfortunately when I got to church on Friday night, I had left my card at home so I couldn't take any good pictures :(
Thanks for a great week, Ashley!!!
I did find this picture of Facebook. Sweet Lexi is the subject of the picture but take a look in the background :) I about fell out of my chair when I noticed it :)
Another "activity" that Carsyn has picked up on is....wait for it......."polding tidals!!!" (Transalation = folding towels). And she does such a good job at it! So funny. Fold, stack, pick them up to take them where they go, drop them and start all over before you ever get to the destination.
Saturday, we went to Montgomery to visit with Adrian and Jackson! After a slight terrible meltdown upon arrival (I guess she thought I was leaving her there), we went to grab a bite to eat while Jackson slept then headed to the pool area after he woke up. Carsyn was a trooper and went without a nap until we left at 5:00...I'm so fortunate that she doesn't get ill when she gets sleepy. We just aren't schedule kind of people. They have a little splash pad for the kids, a big pool and a shallow pool for the little ones to run around in. We had such a good time! Definitely need to repeat!
The big pool was a WHOLE lot warmer than our pool at home so she was swimming and jumping off the side and going under. She hasn't warmed up to our pool yet and now I'm sure it is because of the temperature! However, after playing in the pool up there, she jumped right in ours on Sunday even though it was 72 degrees colder. After just a few minutes, she was jumping in with no hands :)
My little water bug!
While we were in Montgomery, we ran in Old Navy and Carsyn found a pack of "mannies" (panties) and had to have them. Sunday morning, we were able to get out of the house without neon orange flip flops on and without the bubble blowing push lawn mower....but she did have to wear SIX pair of panties over her diaper. That was the whole pack...
And, lastly, one of the funniest things she says is "right there." I don't even know how to explain it, so I just recorded it :) It's pretty close to what she normally says but it usually has more of a southern draw to it...."ite der"
Happy Monday!!
