Last Saturday, Carsyn finally woke up and I said, "Good morning, Carsyn! Guess what! Today is Saturday! You know what that means??" (I was going to tell her that we get to play together all day.) She said "BEEEASH!!!" Then snatched her clothes off and diaper off to be changed and got a swim suit. We hadn't exactly planned on going to the beach that day. The answer to all of the following questions...like "do you want some breakfast?...was, "BEEEEASH!!!" So...we loaded up and went to the beach.
She is talking so much more these days. Not many people know what she is saying but it is so sweet to hear her saying new words :) And I love to hear her put words together when trying to tell you something. Many times, her conversations end up being lots of noise and then one clear word and you know exactly what she is talking about. I videoed one of our conversations (not her most talkative ones) before the impromptu beach trip because I know before long, it will all be clear words and no more of this :)
She has a mind of her own...and such an imagination. One afternoon, she ran around the house looking for something, came back with all of these things, put them on and started shaking her bumper saying, "Uwa, uwa." Seriously? Maybe Dora taught it to her...who knows.
Tase (Casey) came to the house a few nights ago and after talking to her for a little bit, she undressed completely...totally naked...put on my flip flops, grabbed her bag and said, "Bye!" Tase house." She was serious. Tase almost had to call in sick and keep her. What made her think that she had to strip down to go home with Casey? Crazy girl.
Some evidence of all of our spring happenings!
Easter!!! Carsyn had a great time hunting eggs...but she had more fun talking everybody else out of the candy in their eggs. Too bad for those kids that left their baskets lying around...she cleaned them out. Well, she left them the empty eggs...she just wanted the candy :)
She just ran off and left her basket...
Kisses from my girl :)
Love this picture!!!
Cheese!!!
She and Grace had a blast coloring eggs too! (And the table and the floor and mama...) Aunt Bitbee (Vicki) was mighty brave :)
We had a wonderful Easter!
Some sand between our toes!!!
