that she is 11 months old. No way.
This time last year, I was this big!!!
We were looking at a room full of baby gifts waiting to be used...
and at a baby bed that we would lay our sweet little girl in...
Today, she has outgrown a good many of those gifts...she could climb out of that bed if she had the opportunity and I'm just hoping I can find a way to make time slow down.
She is fumbling around on her feet. She stands and does what she wants while she stands for a long time. She has tried one step at two different times. I'm so not rushing this walking thing. I give her another 2 good weeks and I think she'll have figured out how to use those things, though.
We think she's started saying "bye-bye" but it sounds like "dye-dye." Different than "Dada" but not much. She starts waving as soon as you say bye-bye. She's finding some of her body parts (toes, nose, etc) when we ask her about them. She loves to find our belly buttons :)
She gets her shoes and tries to put them on her feet and brings my shoes to me and puts them around my feet...she knows that's where they go.
Of course, she still isn't sleeping all night long. We did get a whole night's sleep this weekend. We are trying everything in the book to get her to...but to no avail. I think she is going to be one of those that just won't sleep all night. And that'll just be ok. I like a little sugar during the night anyway.
It's so amazing to watch what she can learn from day to day. She is staying with Zizi this summer and so is Grace! I know they are having a blast already. And Grace has proved that she is quite the babysitter on their first day of summer! Mama texted me this morning saying that she went to the bottom of the yard to take the trash out and came back to this...
Grace almost had Carsyn asleep!
We had a busy and exciting weekend with the Gymnastics Showcase and graduation festivities. More about that later!
