Sweet, sweet sleep...

Dear Sweet Child of Mine,

You slept all night last night.

All night.

9:00-5:00.

I'm not sure if you are aware of that or not, but I am. Even your daddy was aware of it this morning! (That's saying a lot considering that he doesn't usually wake up during your multiple nightly wakings.)

Anyway, if you would like to make this a habit...I am perfectly happy with that. It's been a long time...over 9 months to be exact...since I have slept for more than 4 hours.

We do love your entertainment in the middle of the night, but the uninterrupted rest was wonderful.

I'm not sure whether to contribute it to all of the 27 dehumidifiers running trying to soak up and dry out the house from the flood yesterday or not, but if that noise is what you need, we will be happy to supply :)

Please, please, don't wait another 9 months to sleep all night again.

Please.

Then again...just whatever you want to do. I'll always be right beside you...sleeping or not :)
