9 Months

I'm pretty sure that 9 months of pregnancy with you did not go by NEARLY as fast as the first 9 months of your life!

The last 9 nine months have been full of pure joy! Each day seems to be even more exciting than the day before. Watching you learn new things each day is just simply amazing. Your personality is really starting to shine through! You are becoming quite the talker...babbling for the most part...saying "Mama" for the other part :) You are a happy baby...a clingy baby as long as I am in front of you...but, very happy :) Zizi says that she is pretty sure that you are a flirt. I keep thinking how boring life must have been without you! It seems that I can't even remember those days!

You had a top tooth come through about a week before your 9 month birthday and it looks like it's neighbor may make it's debut soon. You are great eater! There is no negotiation when you are ready for a meal. You like to eat good when it's eating time and when you are done, you just turn your head away from the spoon. You like most table food that we give you, but you WANT your baby food too! I don't think I've ever heard of a baby that would rather have mixed vegetable baby food over real cooked food, but you do! Your new favorite "real" foods are popsicles and ice cream :) (I can't imagine where you got that from.)

First popsicle!

It's ok, Carsyn! That's what mama thinks about purple ones too!!
All of your grandparents and great-grandparents have been having a ball with you the last couple of weeks and you have been so good for all of them!

Saturday, we went to the river for the first time this year and or your first time ever to celebrate Aunt Vicki's birthday. The weather was gorgeous! A couple of pictures from the trip...

Sunday was another gorgeous day despite the clouds of pollen that left me miserable. After church, we went to Uncle Steve and Aunt Kecia's for lunch (and ice cream), you played with Tyler and got to spend some time outside.

What a fun weekend! We are loving this weather :)
