Christmas 2012

So, this terrible thing happened. It went something like this...I brought my camera card to work to get a couple of pictures off for Vicki. I got it out and realized that I didn't have my card reader. No biggie. I put the card back in the quart-size ziploc bag and laid it on my desk...I would bring my reader the next day and do it then. I did bring the card reader the next day...and I have yet to find my camera card. Yep. Christmas was on it and I hadn't gotten it off yet. I'm still hopeful and optimistic that it's going to show up somewhere because I know I didn't throw it away...not in a big ziploc bag off of a desk that I have to sort through paper by paper to determine what needs shredding or not...and nobody else could have. I try to just not think about it much.

Fortunately, I had just a few pictures on my iPhone from Christmas and I videoed Carsyn getting her gift from Santa on my phone and that makes it all a little better.

And that's it...that's all I had on my phone :( I sure hope my camera card shows up. It's the memories that count in the end...I totally realize that. But, a picture sure is a good way to look back and bring those memories to life.

We had such a blessed Christmas. Seems like it was yesterday and 3 months have already gone by!
