For the records...

At Carsyn's 12 month appointment, she weighed 18 pounds and was 28 inches long. She's now in the 10th-25th percentile for height and the 5th percentile for weight.

Her hair is really growing but still not enough to hold a bow in good :( We aren't sure where she got such white hair from! But, anyway...hair is hair right now :)

See that hair!
She started walking a couple of days after her birthday. It's so much fun to watch her walk! She's goes hard until her feet get too far up under her, hits the floor (always on her bumper...never to her hands in the front), gets up and goes again.

She doesn't have too many words yet...I guess she will pick them up in her own time. She says mama, dada, bye bye, we think she is trying to say "thank you" but it sounds more like "na-noo." She has the cutest piggy face when you ask her what the pig says and the cow says "boooo." She goes to retrieve anything that we ask her...the banana, the apple, the ball, the baby...oh! funny thing about the baby :) I will pick the baby doll up, put her on my shoulder, pat her on the back and say, "looove the baby." Carsyn comes over, lays her head in my lap and pats me on the leg like she saying, "looove this baby, mama." It's too stinkin' cute.

She eats anything. ANY.THING. Girl loves her food.

She will point out most familiar people in her little picture book.

If you say "OH NO!"...she does this...

OH NO!

We are working on "Roll Tide" :) She's got the rolling her hands part down pat...

She no longer cares whether she gets her milk or not before bedtime (I do try to make her drink it) and she sleeps all night either way :D Sometimes even 12 hours...I'm going to do that with her one of these days. And YES, she sleeps right smack dab between us and so what if you don't agree with it :) Our baby, our bed and it's the only way that she will sleep....we had enough of trying everything else. Plus, there's not a thing in this world sweeter than waking up to sweet little kisses on the nose or sweet little fingers pulling at your ears. And that's just my opinion :) We are all entitled to them..

She still wants her pappy at naptime and bedtime. During the day, she doesn't care for it UNLESS she sees it...so, I hide it to avoid it being stuck in her mouth all of the time.

I know there is so much more...but, I just can't think of it right now!

So...I leave you with this...

Lauren
