Building this house was the most. agonizing. process. EVER! I do hope that we NEVER have to do it again!!
2 months later, we found out that we were pregnant!!! Perfect timing, huh??
(We know that we are preggo in this picture, but nobody else does :) There is something special about that!)
I started studying for the CPA Exam the same month that we found out that we were pregnant. Talk about incentive to get this exam out of the way!!! I took one part of the test in October and passed it. I took the remaining 3 parts of the exam between January 1st and Feb 21st. That was A LOT of studying in a short amount of time! I passed all of them on the first try...thank the Lord Almighty! I sure didn't want to have to listen to Peter Olinto or Tim Gearty ANY MORE! After I finished the exam, focus was redirected...
...to February 10th when we found out that we were having a GIRL!!! Ecstatic doesn't even begin to cover it! We would have been just as happy with a boy, but God knew that he made me for a little girl, so he went ahead and gave her to me :) Now the pressure is not on for the next one!

...and, of course, to the growing belly
And, FINALLY, we were scheduled to have her on Monday, June 21st. But, she decided that she didn't want to wait...she was ready on Sunday night, June 20th, Father's Day! What better Father's Day present could a daddy get?? Perfect timing, Carsyn!

That was a short and sweet post to bring it up to the birth of Carsyn. Lots more to come about this precious little girl and all of the other happenings in our lives!!! Stay tuned :)
